On March 19, 2020, California Governor Gavin Newsom issued a statewide order that will impact residents and businesses in the state. This order will require all non-essential businesses to temporarily close.
Thuasne USA/Townsend Design, is an FDA Registered, authorized manufacturer and supplier of Class 1 medical devices based in Bakersfield, CA operating throughout the United States under the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21, Part 820. As such, Thuasne USA is classified as an essential business and able to operate during this restriction.
We do not anticipate any disruptions to our production or delivery capability. We have implemented the appropriate distancing and hygienic protocols in our facility to ensure the safety of our employees and the products they make. Our employees have been directed to follow the requirements of local, state, and national authorities. They are authorized to provide the specific essential healthcare services or development of devices used by essential healthcare providers.
